Letting Agents Celebrate Double Milestone In Expansion Plans

YORKSHIRE'S premier residential letting specialists, Linley & Simpson, has marked a double milestone in its major expansion programme designed to improve and extend services to clients.

The independent agency has not only 'traded up' in Wetherby by transferring its branch into bigger and better town centre premises, it has also opened a brand new office in the heart of York.

The move of Linley & Simpson's Wetherby office to a prime site on Westgate, after outgrowing its original home for the past three years in Bank Street, marks a key strand in the agency's expansion.

Wetherby branch manager Emily Malec said: "As property experts, we recognise only too well the importance of location. This move will give us a greater presence in Wetherby, helping us better meet the needs of landlords and tenants alike.

"It marks another important step in the company's growth and gives us a strong platform for further enhancing the high level of customer service and satisfaction that we strive to achieve.

"The new office has undergone a major programme of modernisation. Its location and eye-catching design offers us a greater visibility and a higher-profile 'shop window' for pedestrians and motorists alike."

The launch of a York office forms another step forward in the agency's plans to provide a dedicated and high-quality lettings service into new geographical areas with a thriving market. And York, with its increasing demand for homes to rent, has long been a prime target.

It also marks a natural progression for the company, which now boasts a network of six offices across Harrogate, Wetherby, Leeds and York as it provides blanket coverage across the Yorkshire property market's so-called 'golden triangle' of the most sought-after areas in which to live.

Specialising in the middle-to-upper end of the market - offering homes with monthly rents between £400 and £4,000 - it is now Yorkshire's largest dedicated letting agency. It works closely with major relocation agencies and counts leading soccer players moving to clubs in Yorkshire, and TV stars working on location in the county, among its clients.

York branch manager Sarah Patten said: "We bring a wealth of expertise to the city. By closely linking our York office to the rest of our expanding network and our database, we can offer an extra dimension to the service we provide to all our clients

"Landlords and property investors can take advantage of access to a greater pool of prospective tenants, while tenants benefit from having a greater choice of properties to match their needs."
